Optometrist Assistant

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Optician to join our team of in-house optical experts at Warby Parker. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in helping customers see the world in a new light.

• Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs, taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear with precision and accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear to ensure it meets our optical standards, as well as customer requirements and requests.
• Use your expertise to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers, providing exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with your team to develop best practices for sales and customer service that can be implemented throughout the organization.
• Represent our brand, educating others about our values and mission.

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
• A clear, effective, and professional communicator, able to break down technical terms for customers.
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers (and your teammates) happy.
• An energetic, positive team player who's able to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
