Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Production Associate to join our team at Spherion Staffing & Recruiting. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of food products, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the production area, and maintaining accurate records of production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of food products, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and other mechanical systems.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the production area, adhering to CGMP and FDA regulations.
  • Monitor production processes and perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including inventory and quality control checks.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and other team members to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. As a Food Production Associate, you will be working in a team-oriented environment with a focus on meeting production goals and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
