The Site Installation Supervisor II is a key member of the BEUMER Group team, responsible for overseeing the mechanical installation of conveying systems and equipment on-site. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate the activities of contractors and workers engaged in the installation or modification of supplied equipment, ensuring that the highest quality of work is provided in the safest manner possible.
- Technical Expertise: Supervise contractors, supervisors, and departments to review drawings, RFQs, and quality control checklists, ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Promote safe and reliable construction and maintenance activities consistent with BEUMER objectives and policies, and lead by example to ensure that all team members are working towards a common goal.
- Communication and Customer Service: Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with site and project personnel, serving as BEUMER's on-site representative for customers and other subcontractors.
- Travel and Logistics: Travel up to 90% of the time, both domestically and internationally, to oversee projects and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are in place.
- Education and Experience: 5+ years of electro/mechanical experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to interpret installation drawings.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate welding skills, ability to plan, organize, and prioritize in an environment with competing priorities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Professional, positive, and energetic demeanor, ability to maintain a high degree of initiative, discretion, and confidentiality, and excellent time management ability.
- Certifications and Licenses: OSHA 30 Trainer Qualifications, First Aid Trainer Qualification, Equipment Trainer Qualification, and valid driver's license.
