Job Title: Diesel Mechanic


Job Description:


JobsRUs.com is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine maintenance and repair, with experience working on heavy duty trucks and equipment.


Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, including oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine problems, including those related to fuel systems, ignition systems, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine inspections on diesel engines to identify potential problems and prevent costly repairs.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:



  • 2-year degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on diesel engines, preferably in a heavy duty truck or equipment setting.
  • ASE certification in diesel engines, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel systems, ignition systems, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a heavy duty truck or equipment setting.
