Job Title: Hotel Houseperson

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Houseperson to join our team at Residence Inn Colchester, VT. As a Hotel Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel premises.

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
• Ensure public areas, such as hallways and restrooms, are clean and well-maintained.
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the housekeeping supervisors.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner.
• Restock linens, towels, and amenities in guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of furniture and equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
