Electrical Systems Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at Midwest Petroleum Equipment LLC. As a key member of our service and repair team, you will assist our Master Electrician in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fuel dispensing systems, commercial electric installations, and other related systems.

As an Electrical Systems Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Schematic interpretation: Read and interpret schematic diagrams, product specifications, installation, and start-up procedures to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair.
  • Material selection: Select materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs.
  • Tool operation: Operate tools and equipment safely to accomplish the assigned task.
  • Task completion: Complete assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistent with guidelines.
  • Property protection: Protect the property of the company and customer by all reasonable means.
  • Inventory management: Monitor and be accountable for accuracy of parts inventory.
  • Problem analysis: Analyze electronic and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
  • New equipment installation: Install, program, and test new equipment.
  • Customer communication: Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid journeyman electrician license or ability to obtain one.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Able to pass background check and drug screening.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, with a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, including benefits such as annual bonus opportunity, sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, relocation expenses available, paid education, training, and certification, company vehicle provided, clothing and cell phone allowance, 401K with company match, excellent health, dental, and vision insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance, paid time off and holidays.
