Work Location: Remote
Position Summary:
The MRIC Subject Matter Expert (SME) will play a crucial role in the GBAD Engineering and Logistics Program, focusing on the acquisition and deployment of tactical information exchange and command and control systems. This position emphasizes expertise in MRIC components, including their integration with systems such as the Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) and the Israeli Iron Dome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage actively in collaborative working groups to support analysis, metrics, and requirements development.
- Provide expert guidance on the MRIC system to the Assistant Product Manager for Engineering.
- Design network architecture for the MRIC system and produce comprehensive documentation.
- Oversee the procurement, assembly, and testing of related modules.
- Facilitate integration events to evaluate system capabilities.
- Assess system requirements and recommend appropriate testing methodologies.
- Review and analyze test reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Recognize testing and evaluation risks and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Over 10 years of direct experience in systems integration and testing.
- Proven experience in network design and integration is essential.
Desired Certifications:
IT/Network design proficiency is required. Candidates should be adept with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Security Clearance:
This role necessitates obtaining and maintaining a SECRET security clearance.
Travel Requirements:
Travel within the continental United States is anticipated to be 30-40% of total support annually, involving frequent visits to various testing and integration facilities.
