Responsibilities:

  • Flight Operations: Ensure the safe and efficient conduct of assigned flights, including pre-flight inspections, weather checks, and fuel management.
  • Crew Management: Direct the activities of the Second-in-Command and ensure that all crewmembers understand their duties and responsibilities.
  • Safety Management: Participate in the Safety Management System and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Aircraft Maintenance: Ensure that the aircraft is airworthy and registered, and all required documentation is onboard.
  • Flight Planning: Determine fuel, oil, and oxygen requirements, and ensure that all flight planning requirements have been met.
  • Passenger Safety: Ensure that all passengers have received a Passenger Safety Briefing and are aware of their responsibilities during the flight.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws, and coordinate with the Manager of Maintenance concerning any maintenance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, demonstrate English proficiency, and possess an FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Operator's Permit.
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time, with 1,500 hours as PIC, 500 hours multi-engine turbine, and 100 hours in company aircraft.
  • Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Travel: Ability to travel internationally 20% of the time.
