Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System.
About the Role:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures, ensuring seamless execution of treatments.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, providing personalized care with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintains a sterile environment, adhering to strict guidelines for infection control and patient safety.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment for procedures, including setup and calibration.
- Assesses patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for treatment.
- Maintains a sterile environment, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following infection control protocols.
- Collaborates with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Participates in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
