Adjunct Professor

Job Summary:
The Commonwealth of Virginia invites applications from highly qualified Adjunct Faculty to teach a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the Athletic Training Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and providing responsive feedback to guide student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach face-to-face or hybrid courses on the Science and Technology campus in Manassas, VA.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Provide regular feedback and assessment to students to ensure academic success.
- Stay current with developments in the field of athletic training and incorporate best practices into instruction.
Requirements:
- Master's or doctorate degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Experience or proficiency in the instructional area of interest.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Athletic Training Board of Certification (BOC) certified or other relevant certification.
- Commonwealth of Virginia Licensed as an athletic trainer or other health care provider.
- University teaching experience.
- Knowledge of Blackboard or other learning management systems.
- Evidence of successful teaching a similar course.
