KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Specialist I position at CFS entails delivering project-based cultural education opportunities for youth to cultivate essential skills for success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting screenings, intake assessments, and facilitating group sessions.
  • Developing individualized service plans and conducting outreach activities.
  • Implementing crisis de-escalation techniques and engaging with the community.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in a specialized area or trade.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with at-risk youth.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Dedication to family-centered service delivery.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Completion of a background check is mandatory.
  • Ongoing training in CPR, First Aid, and related areas.
  • Capability to interact effectively with participants and community stakeholders.
