About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Caregiver to join our team at Visiting Angels of Redlands. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and engage in conversation with clients
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and linen changing
  • Plan and prepare meals for clients
  • Remind clients of medication schedules
  • Transport clients to appointments and engage in activities
  • Collaborate with family members to develop safe care techniques
Requirements
  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
  • Capacity to interpret client care plans
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • Tolerance for small pets
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and family members
  • Physical ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care is a plus
