The Role: We are seeking experienced Residential Mortgage Consultants to enhance our team. In this position, you will oversee the complete process of originating mortgage applications for our internal portfolio and marketable loans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster relationships within the local real estate sector, providing insights into our offerings.
  • Actively engage in networking to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with clients to advise on the best course of action for pre-approval, refinancing, or property acquisition.
  • Address client inquiries both in-office and remotely, processing applications via various channels.
  • Evaluate client-provided documentation to ensure compliance before submission to processing.
  • Support the processing team with client interactions as needed.
  • Mentor junior staff when required.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives for the Mortgage Services division.
  • Participate in local real estate board events.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of current experience as a Mortgage Consultant with annual production exceeding $8 million.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage regulations and secondary market standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Consistently positive, cooperative, self-driven, courteous, and professional demeanor.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend hours.
