We are seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our Emergency Department team at PIH Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify social, emotional, and economic factors that may impact patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and promote optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services as needed.
- Provide psycho-social therapy and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences to discuss patient care plans and share expertise.
- Current California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.
- Evidence of continuing education.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in emergency services.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to reporting of child/elder abuse, substance use/abuse, child protective custody, adoptions, and other legal requirements.
- Proficiency with main-frame and personal computers.
