Body Shop Technician II

The Body Shop Technician II is a key member of our team at Transport Enterprise Leasing, responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand repair requirements for each vehicle, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
- Utilize frame and measuring equipment to diagnose and repair complex issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement in repair processes.
- Perform quality checks and ensure all work meets or exceeds TEL standards.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer specifications and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve repair techniques and efficiency.
- Participate in team-based work systems, contributing to the planning and coordination of work to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, including welding, painting, and fiberglass work.
- Ability to fabricate parts and brackets as needed.
