Job Summary

BayMark Health Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Substance Use Counselor to join our team in a hybrid position. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with medically assisted treatments and providing techniques for handling opioid use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to patients, including direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals and coordination of all services throughout treatment.
  • Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and develop initial treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
  • Facilitate and review aftercare and discharge plans to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Certified Counselor in the State of California.
  • Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is highly desirable.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
