Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative, general, and emergency maintenance on machinery and equipment (including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, foundry machinery, welding tools, etc.)
  • Conduct electrical wiring and troubleshooting tasks
  • Interpret mechanical schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose and repair issues
  • Adhere to a predictive maintenance schedule and assist in planning scheduled downtime activities
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety and environmental regulations
  • Manage tool and material inventory
  • Prepare maintenance activity reports for management review
  • Execute additional duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience (including professional training and apprenticeships) in the setup, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret safety protocols, operational, and maintenance documentation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a diverse work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills

This position involves working in a manufacturing and warehousing environment.
While performing the duties of this role, you may be required to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and lift more than 25 pounds with assistance. Other physical activities may include climbing stairs, using hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending at the waist.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
