CNC Machinist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Moeller Precision Tool - South. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our production process, responsible for machining steel parts used in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC form grinders and other machines to meet specifications.
  • Perform inspections on manufactured parts to maintain quality standards.
  • Enter production data into the data collection system.
  • Maintain machinery by applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, and machining procedures.
  • Ensure a clean working area and follow all safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience running manual and CNC machines.
  • High school diploma or GED with basic math, geometry, and trigonometry skills.
  • Competency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection gauges.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
