Job Overview
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the packaging and deployment of software applications in a controlled environment utilizing Flexera InstallShield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of InstallShield, Wise Script Editor, VB scripting, and Microsoft Windows installer technology.

Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-performance packaging team are essential.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of software packaging, including defining requirements, analysis, packaging, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop, package, and maintain applications to ensure systems are updated to the latest versions.
  • Create Windows installer packages utilizing InstallShield and Admin Studio.
  • Provide innovative packaging solutions through scripting, silent installations, and conflict resolution.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of GPOs, Active Directory, and SCCM.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must be able to effectively perform each essential duty. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in software packaging is required.

Specialized Skills:

  • Familiarity with application virtualization solutions (App-V/Med-V).
  • Experience with automated deployment methodologies (ZTI/LTI).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and application packaging/deployment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft compatibility toolkit / BDD 2007 / MDT.
  • Experience with MDOP.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
