Skyline Med Staff Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join their team for a travel assignment in a medical facility. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images and diagnoses.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician in a medical facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
