Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team at IA Iowa Lutheran Hospital. As a Traveling RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, limb loss, and neuro disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Iowa.
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation setting, preferably with stroke, TBI, and neuro disorders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
