Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team at Southern Multifoods, Inc. in Sachse, TX - 75048. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing and ensuring the efficient operation of the front line and kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have some high school courses preferred, be clean, neat, and well-groomed, and possess thorough knowledge of kitchen food preparation, register equipment operation, and crew employment procedures. You will also have good interpersonal communication skills, good hearing, good vision, and be honest, assertive, aggressive but well-mannered, able to follow verbal and written instructions, read recipes, pay attention to detail, cope with pressure, remain calm when challenging situations arise, work as a team member, and perform job duties with a minimum of disruption to customers or fellow employees. Additionally, you must be able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 90% of shift time, and have good manual dexterity to work rapidly and accurately during rush periods.

In this role, you will ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service and quality products, provide excellence in quality, service, and cleanliness, maintain knowledge and operation of all equipment and operations, follows and abides by all safety rules, policies, and procedures, and observes, recognizes, makes decisions, reacts quickly, and adjusts to different situations. You will set priorities and react quickly to the needs of the customers, the dining room, and the work area. The salary for this position is approximately $40,000 per year based on the location and industry standards.
