Traveling Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse in the ICU setting at Aspirus Stevens Point. This is a 24-hour per week position with a 12-hour variable shift schedule, including every other or every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current WI RN license
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certification
- 2+ years of experience in ICU setting
- Charting experience with Epic preferred
- Ability to float to other units, including Plover, Divine Savior, and Riverview
The ICU unit at Aspirus Stevens Point is a 32-bed unit with three levels of care, including ICU, stepdown, and med-surg. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals.
