Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Your responsibilities will include using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, engaging with customers, and resolving any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will assist in the coordination of clinical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, and you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment. Responsibilities:

* Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
* Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records

* Assist in the coordination of clinical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients

Requirements:

* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
* Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
* Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
* Prefer good math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
* Prefer good computer skills
* Prefer knowledge of store inventory control
* Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification
