Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Traveling Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Traveling Registered Nurse in our Labor and Delivery unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Document patient care and progress in the medical record.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Labor and Delivery unit.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve patient care goals.
