Category Management Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with corporate and regional personnel to develop tailored category, marketing, and merchandising strategies for your area
  • Lead merchandising field support within the area hub and collaborate with Area Replenishment leadership on coordination and execution of initiatives
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for daily operations, including product assortment changes, marketing events, pricing updates, and more
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly to drive success and alignment with company objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in category management, marketing, or purchasing, preferably in the foodservice or food manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and lead virtual teams across multiple sites
  • Excellent management, negotiation, verbal and written communication, quantitative analysis, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of utilizing influence, persuasion, and negotiation to achieve goals and drive organizational transformations

Salary: Estimated $140,000 - $200,000 per year, based on relevant experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
