Floral Associate

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floral Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a key member of our floral department, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and stocking items, creating beautiful flower arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the department and cooler are clean and organized.

• Review work schedules, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
• Use a U-boat to retrieve inventory from receiving and stock it in the floral cooler.
• Make flower arrangements, assist customers, wrap flowers and plants, and inflate balloons as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized department and cooler.
• Track and record losses.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively to complete job duties and comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company's 60-day introductory period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear approved clothing and shoes.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboard skills.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.

• Shift hours: 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs.
• Job cycles: continual.
• Lift/carry: 40 lb.
• Stand: 55%, sit: 0%, walk: 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lb.
• Max pull static: 20 lb.
