Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barback to join our team at Graffito Pizza. As a Barback, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and assisting the bartending staff as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by utilizing the G.U.E.S.T. standards
  • Assist bartending staff as needed, including setting up the bar, replenishing supplies, and cleaning equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glasses, polishing bar fixtures, and removing trash
  • Assist with providing tables with beverages and removing empty bottles and trash
  • Mix and prepare flavors for mixed drinks and maintain the daily operations of the restaurant through the execution of daily side work
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times and attend all required training and department meetings
Qualifications
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to diverse guest types
  • Ability to remain calm and well-organized under pressure while working quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain multiple tasks at a time
  • Basic knowledge of wine, beer, and liquor
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and Grand Performers
Work Environment
  • Must be comfortable working in a shared space with constant noise and without the use of a private office
  • Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism, and collaboration
Physical Demands
  • Standing and walking during the majority of shift
  • Regularly required to lift, reach with hands and arms, use fingers to handle or feel
  • Lifting requirements of up to 40 pounds
