We are seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer (Florida PE required or ability to obtain Florida PE within 6 months is essential) who will be accountable for the planning and design of land development initiatives, encompassing residential subdivisions, multi-family units, commercial spaces, mixed-use developments, industrial facilities, parks, and institutional sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project management activities, including coordinating timelines and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in civil and site design.
- Provide leadership to design teams and entry-level engineers while managing various engineering projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with senior engineering staff in crafting proposals for prospective projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with local regulatory permitting processes for the Sarasota County area is preferred.
- Proficient in software tools such as ICPR4, WaterCAD, AutoCAD, and Excel.
- Strong time management skills, along with effective oral and written communication abilities, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
