Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our hospital-based team of independent practice CRNAs. As a key member of our anesthesia team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and managing all aspects of general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and monitored anesthesia care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide independent anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
  • Manage all aspects of anesthesia care, including pre-anesthesia evaluation, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Current CRNA licensure and certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in independent practice CRNA
  • Proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

About Our Facility

Our hospital is a Critical Access Hospital located in northern Vermont, serving a catchment area of 28,000. We offer a range of services, including cardiology, ear, nose, and throat, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pain management, podiatry, pulmonology, and urology. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Mindray anesthesia machines and Sonosite Edge II ultrasound systems.
