About the Role: As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients recovering from cardiothoracic procedures. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible support during their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care and Step Down Units.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
Licenses/Certification:
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is preferred.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a cardiothoracic setting is advantageous.
