Cherokee Grill is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join their Gatlinburg location.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food preparation and safety protocols, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Prepare ingredients and products for the station, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Perform food preparation procedures correctly, using kitchen equipment and tools effectively.
• Assemble ingredients according to menu specifications, with attention to detail and presentation.
• Stay up-to-date with new menu items and specials, adapting to changing kitchen demands.

• Team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Math skills and understanding of basic conversions.
• Ability to use a digital scale and thermometer.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and more on occasion, with assistance.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Prefer kitchen line experience, with a demonstrated ability to follow recipes.
