Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect for all patients.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year AMA-approved program in radiologic technology and current valid New York State license.
  • Desirable: AART certification and previous hospital experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum A.A.S. degree in Radiology Technology or graduation from a two-year AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current valid New York State license and ARRT certification.
  • One year of experience in radiographic procedures at an accredited healthcare facility preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
