Civil Engineering Intern

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of a civil engineering or civil technician intern. This position may require additional hours beyond the standard workweek. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not available for this role. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site evaluations for various construction initiatives.
  • Execute engineering calculations and assist in maintaining project records.
  • Employ computer-aided design tools to create layouts and planning documents.
  • Assist engineers with daily operations related to diverse projects.
  • Support surveying tasks for construction or other assignments.
Required Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of State Department of Transportation and local agency protocols for construction and design.
  • Proficiency in Microstation/AutoCAD software or equivalent applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Familiarity with basic surveying techniques and tools.
  • Willingness to travel for team meetings and site assessments as necessary.
  • Capability to navigate rough terrain and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
