Certified Nursing Assistant Neurology/Trauma Specialist

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, this Certified Nursing Assistant Neurology/Trauma will contribute to the basic patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, as needed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe patient environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support the Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse or other healthcare team members.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, as needed.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, as needed.
