Visiting Angels of the Berkshires is a reputable home care agency dedicated to providing high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in the Berkshire County area. We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team.
Job Summary
We are currently hiring part-time and full-time caregivers to work in various shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts. As a caregiver with Visiting Angels of the Berkshires, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to our office staff
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Experience in caring for seniors and/or individuals with disabilities (professional or personal experience is a plus)
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliability and professionalism are essential
- Must enjoy assisting others and providing care with compassion and empathy
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
- CNA certification is a plus
