Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver food and beverages to guests at banquet events, ensuring satisfaction throughout the service.
  2. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, escalating issues to the Banquet Manager as needed.
  3. Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them upon departure.
  4. Provide efficient service during events, including cocktail service and handling cash transactions.
  5. Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, including table arrangements and decorations.
  6. Familiarize yourself with the event details and menu prior to service.
  7. Adhere to all procedures for handling cash and credit transactions.
  8. Complete assigned side duties as directed.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Fluency in English is essential. A minimum of one year of experience in food service is preferred, along with knowledge of banquet operations and various service styles.

Skills Required:

  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to learn quickly and maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer service.
  • Reliable and trustworthy, capable of working independently.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work effectively under pressure and navigate stairs frequently.
