Job Responsibilities
As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the operating room environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing the operating room and ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are ready for use.
- Assisting surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by providing necessary tools and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the operating room post-surgery.
- Transporting patients to and from the surgical area.
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
Minimum Qualifications- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- National certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA).
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in trauma settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous travel experience is a plus.
