We are seeking a qualified School Health Aide to join our team at the Illinois Association Of School. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing school nursing services while working within the established framework of federal and state regulations and local school district policies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and be certified in audiometry and visual screening. Additionally, they must be a State of Illinois licensed Registered Nurse with CPR/AED Certification.

Responsibilities will include overseeing the operation of district nurses, providing leadership and supervision for the health aid department, and assisting with the development and implementation of health-related policies and procedures. You will also coordinate all district health services and programs, arrange for CPR recertification, and provide training for newly hired and substitute nurses.

A competitive salary is offered, ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Full benefits including health, vision, dental, and life insurance are also provided.

This is a nine-month position that supervises all designated nurses and students. The successful candidate will report to the Activity Director or their designee.
