About the Role

F.H. Furr is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the General Manager of our Maryland market area. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational excellence of our branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and direction to the branch, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial health of the branch, managing budgets and driving profitability.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth, nurturing a diverse team of professionals.
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Performance Analysis: Leverage key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of five to seven years of dynamic leadership experience, preferably in a parallel industry.
  • Operational Expertise: A well-documented track record of steering teams towards success and driving operational excellence.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, P&L management, and fiscal stewardship.
