About the Role:

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Health Center team on an occasional basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of radiology standards and procedures, as well as excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by a licensed physician.
• Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
• Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of radiology standards and procedures as they relate to mammography procedures, normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiology school, an Associate's Degree in Radiology, or sufficient on-the-job training to meet ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification requirements.
• Meets FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) mandated requirements.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications.
• State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
