Responsibilities
- Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions effectively.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams through clear and concise medical information.
- Foster a collaborative approach to healthcare that prioritizes patient-centered care.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure continuity of care.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans according to established guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations to minimize errors.
- Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Perform procedures as needed, collaborating with specialists when necessary.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to enhance patient outcomes.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to identify areas for enhancement.
- Analyze clinical outcomes to inform continuous improvement strategies.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, maintaining confidentiality and respect for patient autonomy.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing education and training.
- American Board Certification or eligibility in a specified area of medical specialty.
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or licensure-eligible status.
Estimated Salary Range$267.50-$267.51 per hour
