About the Role

CoxHealth is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scan Specialist, you will be responsible for performing radiology/CT procedures consistent with established standards of medical care in radiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently or under the direct supervision of a physician, perform radiology/CT procedures using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images.
• Ensure patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort are top priorities.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with current diagnostic radiology technical information and best practices.
• Develop and maintain strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Requirements

• Education
  • Graduate of an ARRT-accredited School of Radiological Technology.
  • Associate's Degree in Radiology preferred.

• Experience
  • Successful completion of a CT Training Program or 1 year of CT experience.
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • ARRT - R certification.
  • ARRT - CT certification within 1 year of hire date.
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire date.
