Head Cashier

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Head Cashier to lead our cash handling team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, supervising cashiers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by proactively visiting registers, assisting with customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and train cashiers to ensure they are meeting customer service standards and operating efficiently.
• Operational Support: Assist with operational issues, such as scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining store appearance.
• Security and Loss Prevention: Maintain visibility of exit doors and report any security or loss prevention issues to management.
• Employee Development: Assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers and provide feedback to improve performance.

• Experience: 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience, supplemented with leadership training.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with cash handling and mathematical skills.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs., and use both hands to move grocery carts.
