Key Responsibilities

Your role at MySpot will be dynamic and rewarding, requiring empathy and analytical skills to improve children's lives. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify each child's physical capabilities and challenges.
  • Creating individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional abilities.
  • Implementing evidence-based physical therapy techniques through engaging activities to motivate children and facilitate progress.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, to ensure integrated care and optimal outcomes.
  • Educating families on therapeutic exercises and activities to support their child's development outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and communications with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
