About the Role:

Sysco is seeking a highly motivated and experienced CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a vital member of our operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a straight truck safely and efficiently, navigating various traffic and weather conditions.
  • Load and unload packages onto hand trucks and pallets, maintaining accurate inventory control.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain ongoing inter-department communications related to routing, safety, and customer relations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Drivers License Class B (Class A preferred)
  • At least one year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
