Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Endress+Hauser. The successful candidate will be responsible for discovering, selecting, and qualifying suppliers for various parts essential to our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strong, lasting relationships with suppliers.
  • Represent Endress+Hauser in global sourcing efforts and participate in campus teams, projects, and events to align with our overall sourcing strategy.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement to meet business needs both externally and internally.
  • Execute sourcing aspects of engineering changes, and support first article inspection (FAI) process as needed.
  • Coordinate with material planning to transfer quarterly sales forecast to direct suppliers to ensure adequate supply of direct materials.
  • Update relevant material master data in SAP as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of sourcing concepts and strategies along with the ability to negotiate stocking agreements and/or contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP) and Microsoft Office.
  • Customer focused, self-driven and capable of prioritizing workload within a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read, interpret and analyze business documents and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and suppliers from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Travel:

Approximately 10%, including international.
