Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at Experience Senior Living Co. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, and waste management systems.
  • Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating and equipment/supply standards.
  • Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to requests and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Apply all applicable ESL Policies and Procedures, including company operating and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Housing regulations, building codes, and environmental laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • One (1) year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a maintenance technician.
  • Able to perform basic arithmetic skills, including measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Able to occasionally operate general office equipment, including personal computers, telephones, and photocopying machines.
  • Able to frequently use general maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment, including hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, and safety equipment.
  • Able to frequently handle and use chemicals and general cleaning supplies.
  • Must possess basic hand tools necessary for performing maintenance-related duties.
  • Position requires driving responsibilities, including the use of a company-provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
