Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans that address the unique needs and concerns of each patient.
- Provide safe and effective care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in patient education and teaching, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Current Texas State RN License or Compact RN License
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS required at time of hire for experienced RNs
- NIHSS required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
- De-escalation training required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
- TNCC required within 6 weeks of hire for experienced RNs
- PALS required at time of hire for experienced RNs
