We are looking for experienced Vacuum Excavation Jetvac Operators with a solid background in Jetvac operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective operation, upkeep, and management of various jet vac and hydro excavation vehicles while working in proximity to underground storm drains and sewer systems. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success in this position.

Compensation: The starting pay ranges from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on your experience and the class of CDL license held.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Jetvac and hydro excavation trucks, such as the Vactor 2100 series, utilizing high-pressure water and vacuum systems for cleaning and excavation tasks.
• Perform hydro excavation for potholes, trenching, utility location, jet flushing of city and storm sewers, and vacuuming of various pits.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, including vacuuming pipes and boxes for CCTV operations.
• Open and close storm grates and sewer manholes as required.
• Read and interpret maps and prints effectively.
• Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Document all services performed during job execution.
• Conduct minor repairs on equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Class A or B CDL and comply with Insituform's motor vehicle standards.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience operating heavy and Jetvac equipment is required.
• Experience in underground utility construction is preferred.
• A valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report is necessary.
• Comfortable working outdoors at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds and utilize pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools.
• Comfortable entering manholes and working in confined spaces.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
